• Zontiki

  • Zontiki means 'parasols' in Russian, hence the bright orange parasols hung from the trees outside in summer and the parasol-esque lights found inside. The serene, minimalist, Oriental-inspired space is complemented by displays of sculptural Calla lilies and a peaceful garden area for summer dining. The menu itself offers sushi, teppanyaki, tempura and a variety of tasty noodle dishes, which you can pair with wine from the short and reasonably-priced list, a fruity cocktail or a more authentic shot of sake. It's the perfect venue for a glamorous business lunch, with a generous buffet laid out fresh. On Friday and Saturday nights the resident band plays live and it's worth calling ahead to make sure that the restaurant isn't closed for a private event (it's part of the Dom Priomov function hall).
